School Bus Classroom

This is one of the most unique and exciting projects for Moor To Life. With a conscious eye on creating spaces from recycled materials. An amazing opportunity arose when a decommissioned but fully functional school bus was advertised on a local website. After some research on the bus, it turned out that at one time it was the main bus that serviced the area of South Hams where Kitley is located. This added to the authenticity of the overall project which was a deciding factor when purchasing the bus.

Our ambition is to convert this fully functional 11.2l Leyland into a safe, sensory resourced, comfortable welcoming space that can host teaching, be available for welfare needs and offer a chill out zone to those who attend our projects. We also wish to design the interior in such a way that the bus can be used to host people that wish to stay overnight on site for respite , wellbeing getaways and events.
